Is the anti-theft light flashing? if not, its not a anti-theft problem. did you check in neutral? you should be able to bypass the relay. you cant do anything without a wiring diagram for the starter

2000 Chevy s 10 won't start. Makes clicking sound. Int lights, radio, headlights working. Tow driver said my battery was ok. Banged on starter, still clicked. Push started. no mech and female. Help

One thing to check is your battery post connections, or any damage to the cables themselves. Check that the ground wire from the battery is connected well to whatever it is bolted to. Even with a good battery a poor connection will do what you are describing. Clean them good and have them bolted on properly. If that is not it, then get the starter changed....banging on it is not always going to get it to work....I do suspect it is a current delivery problem or the starter itself.

check to make sure the security light is not on if it is the van will have spark but no injecter pulse the best way to solve this issue is to have the original igniton key and put it in the igniton in the run position and leave it on for 10 minutes then the light will flash then try to start the van

My chevrolet venture is not starting. I tried jump start it and it did not worked. The van has the original battery, the internal lights come up. Could this be the starter?

I had the same porblem with my '02 venture. If you look down the positive battery cabke about 24 in. or so toward the starter there may be a metal splice. If so replace the cable.

Would not start...just suddenly. Now clicking under the dash..relay I assume. Replaced relay, no change, still won't start, not the battery. Lights surge off and on, dash works off and on.

Changed the starter and solenoid one time. Cranked and started two times normal. The third time it did not crank, just a clicking from the dash. Checked where the clicking was coming from and found out the solenoid on the fire wall was it. Changed that part but it still did not crank just clicked. There are two soleoinds on this truck, one on top of the starter and the other one in front top of the fire wall. There the battery cables connect to that solenoid to the starter and the alternter. The truck has power to everything, just will not start.
