Well, you dont change parts because of what it could be. You check them, then if you verify them bad, then you replace them. You need to check fuel pressure while its stalling to verify that you either have fuel pressure or you dont. If fuel pressure is good,(40psi or so)
then you can check out the ignition system. What do you mean "stalls out"....at idle? turning? driving down the road? cold? hot? in drive? reverse?

WHERE IS THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ON 1994 CHEVY PICKUP

SKM, fuel pressure regulator is on top of throttle body. This could be the problem, could also be vacuum leak, faulty EGR, etc. You may want a good Tech, to diagnose and estimate repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I HAVE A 1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LARDO THAT RUNS LIKE A TOP UNTIL IT GETS WARM...THEN IT STALLS OUT LIKE IT IS OUT OF FUEL. STARTS AND STALLS!!! WHY DOES IT DO THIS?

Have you or did you hook up to an analyzer to check the codes----here are some things that change due to heat are: O2 sensor---ignition coils----ignition timing pickup sensors----EGR valve {too much air or recirculating exhaust gas--(mechanically & computer controlled)}---gas regulator----fuel line breaking down and swelling up when heated restricting flow----this is way out but how's the oil pressure---some vehicles have an oil pressure switch that when the pressure is too, low it will shut the vehicle off, saving the motor---some with low coolant will do this----wire connections that are deteriorating will break down under heat

Toyota camry was running fine now it won't start when i jump it the car stalls and won't start

Could be either a fuel delivery problem or an ignition problem. Replace the fuel filter and check for correct fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Replace the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and pickup strainer as necessary. If the fuel pressure is correct at the fuel rail, begin diagnosing for an ignition system issue.

Idle problem

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is shutting the flow of gas causing the higher pressure. The pump is probably ok since it is delivering fuel pressure.

How about a defective fuel pressure regulator, buy a fuel pressure test gauage from Autozone and test the fuel pressure under a load and at idle..

91 626 4cyl non turbo will just shut off at stop when engine warm had code 9 change both temp sensors convertor plugs fire when it dies and smell like fuel now have code 17 any ideas

Code 17 is telling you that computer is not seeing Oxygen sensor changing like it should indicating rich or lean engine running condion. Since you are saying smell like fuel, I would guess at too rich. Is your fuel pressure ok. Pressure should be 27-33 psi with vacuum applied to pressure regulator and 34-40 with no vacuum applied. Also disconnect the vacuum line at the pressure regulator with engine running and check to make sure no fuel is present. Older pressure regulator diaphrams will often rupture which will allow liquid gasoline to be drawn directly into the intake manifold via that vacuum line. This could cause stalling and code 17 as well.

MY 220K MILE 1997 NISSA TRUCK ONCE IT WARMS UP (WILL NOT DO IT COLD LIKE AFTER 30 MIN ON) WILL IDLE VERY LOW, THEN STALL OUT, CHANGED OUT FUEL FILTER, DISTRIBUTER, CAP & ROTOR, PLUGS, WIRES,...

A throttle positioning sensor or idle sensor can cause these problems, low fuel pressure can cause these problems also low fuel pressure can be caused by a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

I have a 97 chevy blazer, had a problem with it starting, finally got it started and it would chug, and bog right down to almost a stall. was told it was the fuel pump, as the one in the vehicle did not...

If it was diagnosed as being fuel related, then it could be the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure valve may be stuck open (sometimes). The gas will drain back to the gas tank and not maintain fuel pressure.
If you had trouble starting it first thing in the morning after sitting overnight, then it should have been diagnosed as the regulator (or valve that it controls).

Check it, but before you change it out, try a bottle of "Complete Fuel System Cleaner" ($8 AutoZone). It may clear it up in a couple of days' use. Oh, use a name brand cleaner, not store brand.
