How do I get the SRS light on my 1997 Acura rl to go off

You have a module that's going bad or is bad. Someone had either wrecked the car previously and didn't replace all damages modules. You can have a shop put on computer to tell you exactly which one needs replaced. There is one on the front of the vehicle one under drivers seat and one in with the seat belts those ate just sensors the actual modules are the site bags themselves

How to disconnect airbag light on 2011 kia Sorrento

Disconnect batery! Look under the steering column for a thick yellow wire that goes into or follows the column up to the steering wheel! This is the air bag wire! Trace this wire till you find the connection! Remove locking clip and disconnect! This will disable the air bag in the steering wheel! As for the air bag light you will have to scan the computer because there are multiple bags on a car and multiple sensors! If any of these are malfunctioning you will get a light! The light will only go out if bad part is pinpointed and replaced! Make shure you have removed the power supply and static charge from your self as I've seen these things go off when a static charge is created like draging your feet on carpet and then tuching a light switch! Actuall seen a fluorescent light bulb flicker when off from the zap at the switch! Good luck! Be carefull!!

On my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 3.7 Laredo oil light came on suddenly.Have checked oil level and oil filter-OK.Also passenger airbag light comes on and off.Can you please get me a solution what it might...

Re: oil light - if it's not making loud engine noises, and oil level is up check your oil pressure sending unit. Either the wire is lose or off or the sensor is bad (they're cheap to replace)
The air bag light on/off indicates contact problem. Have dealer check that out, air bags are explosive and dangerous for the DIYr, plus dealers will usually do this under Fed. Warranty safety.

My air bag light on my 2000 Ford Econoline van flashes a 19 code. Does anyone know what that means?

Seems to be a very common problem with Ford. The wiring harness beneath the drivers seat contains the sensors for the airbag system. Go under the drivers seat and secure all the wires and clips. This makes most error lights for the airbags go away. Hope this helps and good luck!

I have a 2004 G35 and my air bag light is on. What can be wrong?

this is a little easier
To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away

Air bag sensor light on, and stays on.

the air bag light being on is most likely a mal funtion, they shold have not had to mess with the wiring for the air bag, in the old days air bags had an acellarometer on the otter part of the car on the front of each fender if one was disconnected it would cause the light to come on, since yours is a generation 2, I suspect a different problem, since air bagsare explosive I do not recomend you try repairing it but I have a web page where they can trouble shoot it for you for a very reasonable price, they can tell you how to reset the lamp and tell you what code it is but it cost's $20.00 still cheeper than hooking up a scanner at a shop. here is the site you will need to fill in the information and then you can call them and they will be able to pin point it for you, when working on air bag systems always disconnect the battery and wait 5 minutes before testing or pulling anything apart as they can hold a charge in the ignigher for up to 5 minutes and use only a digital ohm meter to test wires as a meter with a sweeping arm can detonate the air bag, and at 170 MPH if you in the way your gonna get burned. hope this helps.
