The switch I believe is located in the cab, under the passenger side dash. Pull back the carpet under the glove box, it should be about a foot down from the top of carpet. It may be a little closer to the side kick panel. It will look like a fuse switch with two wires running to it. If I remember right, one wire is red the other blue. At least that's the location on the prior years Bronco II.

88 bronco 2 is not getting power to the fuel pumps i changed the relay and the inertia switch stil no power

Check the wires going to the fuel pump relay for a ground with the ignition on. The reay requires a ground sent from the ecu to activate the relay and sent power to the fuel pump.

Where is the fuel pump relay on my 87 bronco 2. Is it on the passenger upper fender? Would this make the fuel pump not work?

Inside, on the passenger side of the trans tunnel, on the firewall, under the carpet is your shut off switch. Press the button on top. Hope this helps.

Our ford bronco will not run new fuel relay, fuel punp works, new spark plugs, new filters, changed oil, we have spark, and compresion no fuel

Check to see if you have a Throttle Position Sensor. This would be on the Airhorn and works with the throttle butterfly. It is about the size of a butane lighter and has 1 electric connector and 2 screws.

This part sets the spark and fuel for the throttle position.

Is there a relay fuel pump switch for a 1987 ford bronco 2 If we straight wire it to the fuel pump it comes on but when turning on switch fuel pump will not come on.

I just had the same problem, today, check the tan- lt green wire on the fuel relay that is located on the right fender, mine wasn't pushed in all the way, this wire shut down spark and fuel, if you are looking for the shut off switch to reset the relay, it is on the passagers side floor board under the dash, gas two wires, orange and pink, I don't remember the color of the stripes, I removed this switch and wired them together without a problem

'88 Ford Bronco II, 2.9L Hp fuel pump won't activate 1st thing in the morn. Have new fuel pump, fuel pump relay, ignition switch. I turn key on & off a few times...then pump activates. everything runs...

sounds like it could be the relay. also this one has 2 pumps I think, one in the tank LP and one on the rail just under the driver. 2 relays also one for each.

Cant find fuel pump relay on an 1987 bronco 2

The fuel pump relay should be at the pass. fender well. It may be under a cover that holds 3 relays together. Usually it has a green plug on it. Also check the inertia (crash) switch. It's located at the upper part of the pass. side floor inside the car. It'll be under the carpet midway up the firewall. Make sure it hasn't gotten tripped.
