Cam timing or ignition timing, why do you want to know, why do you think its off?
cam timing, i replaced my waterpump, but had a hell of a time with the camshaft pulley. a friend came over to help me, got the pulley off but i noticed the marks i put on the belt and on thegears are no where to be found.
i would much rather make sure its right then to find out its not right after its together.
Its always better to tell the whole story up front. I hope you are replacing the idler and tensioner pullies, and cam and cranshaft oil seals also. The pullies are marked with the timing mark,, they line up with the plate behind the pulley. the crank gear has a mark that matches the front of the oil pump
