Question about 2000 Audi A4
The problem is the Gas tank charcoal filter. The charcoal tank is located under the spare tire wheel well. Connected to that is 2 lines that go to each of the rear tire wells, tucked up on the drivers side is a pump/filter and on the other side there is some parts that are then connected to the tank. If any of these parts are not letting air out of the tank the tank then gets pressurized too much causing the pump to shut off. If you want to see if this is the problem just pull the cover under the car just below the trunk, pull off any of the 3 pipes going to the charcoal tank that is under there. Dont worry none of the fuel will come out, just air moves thru these parts.
If you need further assistance please let me know and i will be glad to assist you from there. Thanks, MIdwest-tek
