Question about 2005 Dodge Neon
It's located deep inside your engine.
A bit of advice:
Replacing it is a process requiring quite a bit of technical prowess. The top end of your engine needs to be dismantled just to get close to exposing it.
If your engine is not reassembled just right it will not run.
I do not mean this as an insult, but I am trying to save you from the added expense of someone cleaning it up after the fact. If you need to ask about the location of the cam shaft, you probably should not try to replace it yourself.
Consider this before starting such a procedure.
