usually when this occurs (engine light) the ecm has detected some type of failure with one or components of the engine. ur gonna need to have a diagnostic scan done to determine the source. If the vehicle is OBD certified autozone part stores will do it for free. to be sure that its not just a minor "hickup" u can reset yous car's ecm urself by disconnecting the positive battery for 1 minute. if the engine light returns then i would have a diagnostic scan done. check air filter for dirty , how many miles or kms have your car? , maybe need to replace spark plugs, try to reset the ecu for a momentany malfunction, remove the negative battery terminal few minutes and reconnect,start engine and drive, check if lights goes off , please write me

to reset for a momentany malfuntion,disconnect the negative battery terminal few minutes, reconnect,start engine and drive to check

this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
