That service visit is an easy one. Change the engine oil, oil filter and lubricate the front end. If you are doing this yourself, add checking differential and trans fluid levels, coolant level and give everything a good looking over for loose parts, leaks and anything else obvious.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

When is the earliest and latest time to change the timing belt of a 2007 passat 2.0 fsi engine

All belts are different. Manufacturers recommend 40 to 50,000 miles. I have seen belts last over 100,000 miles. I probably would look mine at around 70,000. And depending on condition it's in to change it.

I own a 2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid with CVT. What is the factory maintenance schedule for the transmission? Dealer is telling me it needs service at 70,000 miles and when purchased I was told it would be...

All Transmissions get the fluid changed at 30,000 miles

I really am not familliar with Hybrids, but if the Dealer
told you 70,000 miles, you can be rest assured that, that
is at the high end, mileage wise,as they usually tell you
that it never gets changed or changed at 100,000 miles

Both of which most trans fail long before ,along with
steering racks ,because of no fluid changes.

I'm guessing it takes special fluid

There are plenty of web sites to answer all
those questions any way you want.

1999 golf MK4 auto iam just wandring if it's got a chaine cambelt or regular one

should have a regular timing belt. recommended replacement is 60,000-70,000 miles.
it is also recommended that the belt tensioner and water pump are changed at the same time.

How often do i need to change timing belt

60,000 -70,000 is the industry standard. the book calls for 105,000, but i think you will come up with very serious issues if you wait that long.

could be one of two things, oil pressure switch (located on top of engine behind intake) or instrument panel cluster, if your vehicle has under 70,000 miles, it's covered under warrenty

I got a letter from VW saying that I need to take my r32 in for a 70,000 mile check up? What does that include? is it worth it??

70,000 mile service should include Oil & Filter Change, PM Check, Rotate tires, SRI reset if equipped.
If you can do this yourself then no it is not worth it. If you cannot then for about 75 dollars it is well worth it since just a oil change can cost you over 50 dollars
