I come up with 96lbs for the three bolts that hold the bearing assy. and 118lbs on the axle nut. Use locktite on the axle nut.

My 2006 pontiac g6 is making a "roaring" like noise- like i have big monster truck tires on it.

If it only does it while driving, have the front wheel bearing check out.

Replacing passenger side front wheel bearing on Pontiac G6 2006. Have all 3 bolts out and wheel nut off, seperated old hub assembly from strut tower, but won`t slide off splined shaft?????

use a hammer to tap on the head of the shaft to push it back out, put a small block of wood on it before hitting it so you dont mushroom the end or distort the threads.

Good luck!!
