Something wrong with the truck AC; blows hard for a few minutes, then hardly blows at all even though its on high. Air is still cold. Any ideas?

You probably replace the wrong switch. I believe the high pressure switch is mounted in the back of the compressor. Pull the plug and jump it. If it works, replace the switch. I don't recommend you leave the jumper in the plug. If it the A/C pressure is to high, you could blow lines and such. Costing you a lot of money.

check make sure engine coolant not low.if no probably thermostat faulty it stuck open.

is it a flow issue or only a temperature issue.
this is key to the diagnosis.

my guess, is its only a temperature issue, not flow.
so lets work that.
1: the AC belt is slipping at high speed.
2: the AC clutch is slipping.
or something far more complex that only tools can find.
working on cars takes hands on and tools.
guessing is near fruitless but there, i tried.

You would need to find out if the compressor continues to run when the cold air stops.

sounds like your blower motor has stopped working check for power going to the blower system if you have power the blower is probably bad the concern is the lack of a fuse blowing or a breaker not cycling you may have a harness problem sometimes a low grade short will heat up wires then melt them together causing a multisystem failure even though a fuse or breaker didn't blow check you harness

is the cooling fan on the radiator running? the high pressure will skyrocket if the fans are not working.

You need check the level with a gage while its on and blowing high on the low side the ac.
either it need R134a added ore you might have leak. Best thing is check the level first and if low add the dye to see where leaks out and then top off the ac until full but you cant over fill it ore it loc up the ac pump
