Question about 1994 Ford Taurus
Anything is possible, but ford ECMs are known for there lack of failure. they almost never go bad. in 12 years as a performance and diagnostic specialist I've replaced scores of GM ECMs, 4 or 5 chryslers, two toyotas, and one ford ECM. I replaced it at my manager's insistence, and it did not fix the problem. had any mechanical work done lately? valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, or the like? maybe a ground wire was not put back on tight enough or in the right spot?
