Question about Chrysler Town and Country

Open Question

You didn't list Citroen! I am looking for ECU details for the C5 HPi engine control.Siemens Sirius 81. Generally seem to be a lot of problems with this. I've just spent nearly £600 and at least it doesn't curt out! Price for a now failed post pre-cat exhaust temperature sensor is ~£250. There's is another identical one before it at the same age. I would like to know how accurate the signal needs to be. I Can make a $50 sensor look very similar with a simple electronic circuit!

SOURCE: where is the air mass sensor(air fuel sensor) on

THE AIR FLOW METER IS LOCATED BESIDE THE AIR FILTER HOUSING.
IF YOU ARE GET IT A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOR RICH OR LEAN FUEL MIXTURE THE AIR FLOW METER IS THE MOST LIKLY AT FAULT.
AIR /FUEL RATIO SENSORS ARE THE SENSORS BEFORE THE CAT IN MOST NEWER CARS
I DON'T THINK THAT YEAR USES A TRUE A/F SENSOR BUT RATHER A O2 SENSOR.

SOURCE: C5 clutch engagement_Problems

Check your pedal height, make sure it is set to specifications. It has to be a certain distance from the floor, if not it will not disengage the clutch.

C5 uses motorized throttle body. You need to get it connected to a Peugeot/Citroen scanner e.g. Lexia 3 and get it reprogrammed.

Where is the body ecu located

Engine ECU is located in the engine bay, on the driver side(RHD). Body electrical has no ECU (earlier models). Citroen Berlingo uses what is called 'Multifunction Control Modules'. It has 2 of them. One is located in the steering column switch assembly and the other is incorporated inside/underneath the fuse/relay frame in the engine bay. If your Xantia is late model, it may adopt the Berlingo system but I have not seen one that does.

Replace transmission fileter, remove and clean idle air control valve, clean fuel injectors if you have them, change fuel filter, plugs, wires and distributor should solve the problem.
