SOURCE: type of transmission fluid for 1992 Nissan Sentra

Dexron-III is what's used in almost all vehicles (except some older fords and chryslers), but you can check the owners' manual to be sure (or call the nearest Nissan dealership).

SOURCE: Nissan Sentra GA14 engine - Water in Engine Oil

was the 'mating' surface of the head and block cleaned of all old gasket/adhesive materials? was the head checked for 'warp-age'? if the head was warped by over-heating, that could allow the gasket to open up another water leak into the oil passages. could try having head re-torqued- that may tighten it up enough! i think 're-torquing' is usually recommended.
good luck!

SOURCE: Nissan B13 sentra isn't starting.

All engines need 3 components: fuel, spark, and oxygen.
You'll need to check all 3 of these. start by checking your spark plugs to see if they aren't gapped or melted. Then check to make sure that fuel is reaching the engine. make sure that the fuel filter isn't clogged.
If you have the tools, run a vacuum pressure test on the lines.

hi
check the engine oil.
if there was no oil left in the engine then good chance of engine seizing.
do not carry on starting the engine as you will bend the valves.

My nissan sentra 2004 model's engine runs out of oil in less than one week.

the only way you lose oil is by burning it or leaking it, if your car blows a lot of blue smoke, then you are burning it {engine rebuild or replace} if there is oil on the ground when you park, then you need to determine where the leak is coming from, pressure wash underneath before taking it to a mechanic, we hate getting under dripping dirty cars. glad to help.

Need tappet clearance settings for 88 nissan sentra 1.6 b12

both engines on these sentras are hydraulic and no adjustment is necessary. if youre getting some tapping noise, try a good engine flush and idle till the noise goes away. the last time i did one of these, it took 2 hours for the noise to cease. drain the oil and use a nissan oil filter and probably 10w 40 oil. you should be fine. cheap fix huh?

I changed the oil on my 2008 nissan sentra 2.0

You should use the viscosity oil recommended in your owner's manual. Using a heavier weight oil can affect your fuel economy. If you overfilled the engine with oil, drain out a quart. Overfilling with oil will cause the oil to 'foam', and if this happens, you are not getting proper lubrication of components, which can result in damage to your engine.

89 Nissan Sentra making a trrrrrr noise

sounds like a case of closing the horse after the barn ran away...Pretty good chance that you have lost an engine bearing (yes, that means it's new engine time)
To avoid this in the future regard your oil light as a "you just blew your engine" light. Check your oil at least every two weeks, and this will never happen again (not for lack of oil anyway!!!)

1999 Nissan Sentra oil in air filter

First off, nothing "blows" into the air filter. It would be getting sucked in from somewhere in your engine compartment. My guess would be leaking valve cover. Check around and feel for wet oil. That will also be a leak. Have you been going through more oil than usual? Check that also. Hope that helped.

Sentra 2008 2.0 model

It is best to get a proper garage or oil change specialist to change the oil, as it will void the warranty on such a new vehicle if you do it yourself. Also if you just want to top the oil up, best to call the dealer for the oil specification, or it should be in the handbook that came with the vehicle.
Hope this helps, Mark
