Disconnect it, if it still sprays, then replace it, it it stops spraying, then you have a problem with the computer or wiring.

My 1993 Geo tracker fuel systen is not working, the injector is not spraying. now it is sprayin on the inside of the carborator and filling the carborator up.. how do i fix this problem//

there is no CARB on this car.
that must be the throttle body engine, TBI EFI.
1 injector engine not the 4 MPI engine.
G16a is TBI G1b is TBI and both sold day 1 , new.
its is supposed to spray, but you forgot to say when.
just key on over and over not running, (not spray is correct)
it sprays cranking and running,, that be its job1.

lets say it sprays key one.
That means:
1: injector leaks.
2: injector - o-rings are bad. (cracked)
3: ECU injector drivers shorted (bad ECU)
you can look at the inject on this car, air pipe off TBI horn.
see if the seals leak or injector tip leaks ?
if the injector actually leaks.
unplug the injector connector (4pin plug)
leak now.
yes, injector is bad or just o-rings
no, the ECU is bad. (common on this car)
i can even tell you which transistors are bad.... etc.....ask.

both engines covered here.

91chevy 5.0 l TBI won't spray any fuel out of injectors .can spray chemtool carb cleaner in throttle body and it starts up . have replaced distributor twice still no injector spray ?

could be clogged up, clean injectors. gunk in bottom of fuel tank can be sucked through and block injectors. also check fuel pump.

2005 FACELIFT LAGUNA 1.9DCI 130 DISPLAY IS SHOWING CHECK INJECTION IS THIS A COSTLY REPAIR

It means you injectors are clogging up (Sprays gas in motor) Go to parts store...Buy bottle throttle spray...not carburetor spray because it eats your rubber ceils up. Take the air duct loose from carb. While accelerating you gas throttle with your hand spray the bottle throttle spray directly into carburetor. As the car trys to stall let go of the spray...Repeat 3 or 4 times.......Ive seen the engine light go back off after doing this...It will get to your injectors and clean them...Ive done this alot myself and what a diffrents. Its works alot bettef that just adding injector fluid to gas...Promise

93 astro van fuel injectors not spraying

Unless you have a clogged fuel line going into the throttle body, something got missed.
With the key on, can you ground one of the injectors and make it spray ?

I have a 93 gmc k1500 with a 350. ive replaced the distributor and the fuel pump. the throttle body has been replaced also but my injectors will not spray. bad ecm??

Check at injector wire with a test anoid light blinking while cranking engine if there is a signal to the injectors.
The + signal is from a FUSE.
and the - signal is from the ECM.
If it's an ECM problem, before changing it. Check all positive and ground at ECM pinout check.

Hope it helps.

1986 pontiac fiero won't start, changed fuel pump and relay gas coming up, but no spray from injectors

Actually the injectors don't spray "all the time". They pulse open for a few milliseconds then close every time they are grounded by the ECM. The distributor has a pick-up coil (Variable Reluctance sensor) that provides an A/C (Alternating Current) pulse every 120 degrees of crankshaft revolution to the Ignition Control Module also contained inside the distributor. The I.C.M. amplifies, rectifies and passes along the pules as a +12V square wave to the ECM. The ECM uses these pulses to calculate RPM and determine when the engine is rotating vs. stopped. Together with this information and more from Coolant Temp., Throttle Position, Manifold Pressure and Air Temp. the computer constantly 'looks up' what the appropriate amount of time it should pulse the injectors for to deliver the required amount of fuel.
With that in mind, the injectors are supplied with +12V via a 3 AMP fuse labeled INJ 1 for 1 bank of 3 injectors, and INJ 2 for the 2nd bank of injectors. Make sure your injectors are getting +12V whenever the key is ON or they wont fire (or at least 3 won't).
If all 6 injectors have +12V and you have fuel pressure (checked by pushing down in the center of the Schrader (tire valve stem looking thing) valve and fuel SPRAYING out, and your still not getting fuel it is probably because the injectors aren't pulsing. They are probably not pulsing because the ECM is not receiving any reference pulses from the distributor. If you have spark then you are producing reference pulses.
I hope some of this explained from an actual '86 Fiero GT 2.8L V6 owner/mechanic will help narrow down your problem.

Cyl. 1 and 3 missfire

An injector can pulse without spraying fuel. They can get plugged or get build up on the nozzle and squirt fuel instead of spraying or not spray at all.. Your fuel rail is common rail, so your fuel line should go through a pressure regulator and then to a rail that dispenses the fuel equally. I have heard of cases where kia replaced the fuel rail to solve this problem. All the injectors will get the same amount of fuel pressure with this system, so if you have injector pulse and no missfires on #2 and #4, i would suspect clogged injectors. You can have an injector flush performed, which is probably not a bad ideal any way, to see if you can clean them up, or just replace the bad injectors. You can also inspect them visually to see if there is any debris on the nozzles. I wouldn't recomend that to an inexperienced person. Fuel can be very dangerous. I have head of techs removing the injector from the rail and running the car and watching the injector spray the fuel. Not recommended at all. All it takes is one spark or hot surface. Do a fuel injection clean, or buy some BG brand 44k fuel treatment and put in the tank first, the fill it up with gas. You can remove the injector and soak it in injector cleaner also to help free it up. If any of these don't help, time to take it in...they are also experiencing ECU problems..
