Question about 2001 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The procedure to replace the head light bulb on Mercedes c240 is as follows:--
1) First open the hood.
2) In the hood look on the engine side of the headlight. 3) You will see a black cover that comes out moving the clip.
4) After that carefully remove the wire from the bulb.
5) Next, you will see there is a metal clip. Get the clip off
6) Then just remove the clip then take out old bulb and replace.
For more help details:--
Open the headlight cover. To gain access, open the hood and locate the headlight cover at the front of your Mercedes, on either side of the front grille. The cover opens by pressing the clamp that secures the compartment.
Pull the electrical connecting wire from the bulb. Remove the retaining spring to remove the bulb. The spring does not need to be fully removed; un-clipping one side will provide access to the bulb.
For safety reasons disconnecting the battery before doing this procedure is advisable.
