Let's assume you've checked the bulbs and are happy they are serviceable. Therefore you can examine the brake switch input and output (while pedal is depredded)Usually located in the pedal box area of the drivers foot well ! Good luck

I have a 2000 Sebring convertable. I have lost

Sounds like a grounding issue.

You will need a wiring diagram and someone who is good with a multimeter to run it down.

The three systems you identified are all fused from the same location. Which should make running down the bad ground wire a little easier.

Good luck and as always be careful!

2000 Sebring has no brake lights

it will not be a short a short would either blow fuses, cause fire, or leave the lights on all the time. I would say that the brake switch at the pedal will be your issue

The ABS light stays on all the time...so the ABS brake system is not working..so what to do?

There are many parts involved in the ABS system. You will need access to a scan tool to find out the fault code and go from there. It could be a wheel sensor or circuit, communications failure, system undervoltage, the list goes on and on.
