Hi, if you are not getting fuel up to the fuel rail, you definitely need to change the fuel pump.......

How do you test fuel pressure on a 01 pontiac grand am

There is a port on the fuel rail. The fuel rail is on the top of the engine. The rail will have a port in it to hook a gauge to. Just hook the gauge in the fuel rail and start the car. The gauge will read the fuel pressure.

2001 Chevy Impala When i try to speed up it blogs down and wont speed up. What causes this ive changed the fuel filter already

Probably a bad sensor. Maybe a TPS or MAF. Sounds like things are not mixing correctly or firing right. OR the fuel pressure is bad and that's either the pump or bad fuel rail and a fuel return can cause probs also. I'd check the fuel pump 1st, then sensors, then fuel rail

My 2001 grand prix will turn over but not start up

I would check for fuel at the test port on the fuel rail. Also check for spark at the plugs. You could have a bad fuel pump or igntion control module.

I amnot geting fuel

Check the fuel pump filter to see if it has blown. Also, change the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in quite some time.

Low fuel rail pressure

Check your " FUEL FILTER " for clogging. Work backwards toward the fuel supply tank, Hope this helps.
