Drivers side mirror how to taske off and replace

If the mirror housing is in place, Have one cut to fit. Glue it in. If the housing is broken, replace all of it. You can't fix a broken side mirror. Tried to many times.

gm does make just a mirror glass than you can get at you local dealer.First ck all the clips on the mirror and make shure that they are not cracked

This operation is definately best left to the dealer who has all the schematicds and voltage readouts. These mirrors have self defrost systems and heaters which are very frail. Sadly I'll tell you up front, they'll end up putting a new mirror on, but still this is not an easy task as with other manufacturers.Thanks, Dana

If you are talking about the mirror assembly,you have to remove the door panel to replace the mirror. The mirror is held on by 11mm nuts.

I used google to do a search for this and typed in "instructions replace side mirror". There is a guide on e-bay that pops right up and it gives you pretty detailed instructions. the door panel near the mirror must be removed if not the entire door panel inside u will find 3 nuts to remove to get the old mirror off. hope this helps please rate me

on the driver side door from the inside, take off the paneling and you will find a couple of bolts, simply undo those and waaa laa youre mirror is off.

If you remove the door panel, you'll see the screws that hold the mirror on. Remove them and the mirror will come right off.
