If not a vacuum line broken , cracked , or disconnected, it is probably the idle control valve or sensor. No engine light on? Check all hoses. Wiggle them while the engine is running and listen for a hiss. Check intake bolts for tightness.

T bird stalls on idol?

Check all vacuum lines and electric connections. It sounds like a Throttle position sensor or an EGR valve problem. If it idles too slow there are a few screws to turn like on the old carburetors. The vacuum routing is on a label and you may have the wrong hose somewhere.

Honda CR-V - 2004 - High RPM not returning to Idol RPM ????

i'am no expert on this car, but i would chk. the T.P.S. (throutle positioning sensor) there also may be carbon build up on throutle butterfly, not letting it close completely when you take your foot off the pedel.

When I start my jaguar, it idols at a fast speed but then as it warms up it will idol fast then slow, fast and slow and keep doing so

if it is a v12, and at idle when warm if it goes up and down then you need to rebalance the throttles, they are off balance causing the idle to raise and drop.
set the butteryflys behind the air cleaners to 2 thousands of an inch using a fella guage and make sure the linkage arms from the pedestal in the middle of the engine are set the same (one is not longer than the other)
