How to chassis lube a 2010 chevy malibu

You are not taking a boot off the grease fitting. The little rubber boot you're removing is the dust boot for the bleeder valve on the brake caliper. The 2010 Chevy Malibu,as with most cars, have non-serviceable suspension parts.

What is the rubber that holds the lube or grease?

it sounds like a bleeder valve for brakes does it have a rubber cap on it ? and has a small hole in the end ,if so don't try to put lube in it, or is it a grease fitting ? it will have a little steel ball in the end

Makes a squeaky noice on the driverside front

balljoint. either replace it if its worn or drill a hole and install a grease fitting and lube it. if you replace it, make sure you get one with a grease fitting or install one yourself so that you can lubricate it in the future to avoid these problems.

Are there front-end grease joints that need lube periodically or are they sealed and don't require fresh grease?

There are places to lubricate the joints and such in the front end. The ball joints certainly have lube points if nothing else does. Anything that could be metal to metal contact needs periodic lubrication. Check your owners manual for Lubrication types. Most are using a molediumdysulfide based lubricant in the newer vehicles. It is easily available at Walmart and most auto parts stores. Just don't use a graphite based Lube unless it is specifically called for. If your owners manual is short on information on this you should pick up a Haynes repair manual on your vehicle. It will specify lube points and intervals and what type of lubrication to use.

My 2004 gmc sierra has a slight squealing noise when turning left

If noise is come from front end, and your truck is not moving at a stand still, it's going to be your ball joint's, bad news, if there OE there will be no grease fitting. New ones will come with grease fitting for future lube jobs on ball joint's.

Where are the grease fitting that i need to lube the car?

Usually they are in the front end, on the ball joints, and tie rod ends. Alot of the newer cars don't have them. All the suspension parts are sealed.

Lube Job

If you have 5/16 plugs in the front end parts you can replace them with standard zirk fittings and lube them...many do not and the only way to service them is when they fail, new parts will have a provision for a fitting.

Cant find grease sert on front end? 06 ram 2500 4x4.

if there is no fitting it is a "sealed" joint... either drill out a hole in the end and add a fitting for grease.... or when it fails replace it with one that has a fitting. i believe most hardware stores stock grease fittings
