HI, this is a sign your system is probably low on freon. the A/C compressor keeps cycling on and off. If you try and add freon to the system your self be sure use a can with a gage on it so that you can get a idea of the system pressures. Good luck.

One day my ac stop working, ac clutch doesn't engage but it is not froze, it still spins

Chances are you may have a low pressure relay that shut it off. Check the pressure and add more r34 if its low on coolant.

My car Keeps shutting off when I turn on and off the AC/Fan

You would need to find out if it is a problem with the compressor or the blower motor. You could pull the compressor relay or unplug the compressor to find out.

AC cycles on and off when car idles low.

The compressor should cycle on and off. Sounds like the idle needs to be set. There is a pressure sw. on the dryer that might be going bad but the plugs and wires will not cause your problem unless they are just really bad.

2001 ford taurus ac wont engage the compressor when moved to ac selection

Could be a bad pressure switch located on the accumulator. With the car turned off try unplugging the connector and run a wire across. Start the car and turn on the a/c. If it starts to work shut the car down and replace the switch.

2001gti vr6 ac not working. Blowing hot air. Is it posible bad module?

First check the ac fuse, if it is ok check to see if the clutch is turning when the ac switch is turned on. If clutch does not engage you should check the ac relay. It is usually located in the fuse box. You can switch places with it and another relay with the same number in the box. If compressor still doesn't run it may need to be charged with R134. If compressor runs for a few seconds and shuts off and continues doing this with control on high. It nees more refrigerant added.

My ac went out on my 98 cadi deville a few month ago. It just tells us low refridge. we tried to put some more in and the gage to fill it up says it is still full. but since then my econ/vent; heater; rear...

on those caddys you disconnect the battery and wait a few seconds and reconnect and it will reset ac system. when it goes into service mode the system just shuts down. the battery procedure is how to reset. when the ac compressor is not engaging you will not get an accurate reading on your gauges. it might be low but the compressor must be engaged for the system to take more freon.

Ac has charge but compressor will not engage

Did you put freon in it?,removing the negative cable for 20 seconds, will reset the ac,but there is going to be a problem with it,if it shut down,so it may need freon,if this was helpful, please rate, thank you.

Ac stoped working

Another way to know if your Compressor is running is you will see the pulleys rotating, when its off the fan just runs along it until turned on a clutch will engage and the pulley will begin turning the compressor. You will also hear in run, it may or may not shut off and then run again for a few seconds, then off (it depends on the AC System) - Some run all the time, some cycle on and off

When your defroster is on it makes your ac compressor kick in when the ac is low on freon it will keep kicking in and out. have your ac charged that will fix your problem. Phil.
