Did you install it in the right direction, could have flipped it by mistake?

Assumming it ran befor. check the direction on the filter. most only flow in one direction. they are useually built with a check valve in them . If it ran befor then that is most likely what is wrong. just turn it around. It should have an arrow on it to indicate the flow although sometimes hard to see. good luck!

SOURCE: 2001 F250 Diesel. Truck cranks but wont start.

Look for a fusible link that has gone bad. If you are not familiar with this please read some before you explore. The 'fusible link' from a distance looks like any other wire but on close exam it is rubbery and some what stretchy as well. There are several wires coming from the solenoid so be careful and pull gently on each one until you find the one that feels stretchy. Try and find an obvious 'burn' area and or a total split in the line. I hope this helps.
Again be sure to read some on fusible links.

Here is a generic pic of some fusible links - so you know they look just like a regular wire but their sheath is different as in more stretchy :

Best of it.

How do you replace a fuel pump in a 1991 Chevy Lumina euro 3.1?

Had fule pump and filter replaced, 3 months later, same problem, car will not start, replaced Relay Switch, still wont work. any suggestions?

Wont start

try kicking your fuel tank and if your fuel pump is bad it may "kick start" so to speak your fuel pump, if nothin happens it may be the fuel pump, the lines may not have enough pressure, it may also be your filter just being a lil dirty and needing replaced
