The differential ratio is stamped in code on the door post or the engine comp. Not the VIN, but the body, paint code. Tells you what motor, transmission, paint color, differential, you also have a build sheet stuck up under the seat, or behind the seat, it has everything in the car on it. All chevys have them. I just read that it is pasted on the glove box door, and here is the web site that talks about it.

I have a 1994 Chevy 1500 z71 I have replaced the front diff with the same gear ratio and know my four wheel drive is binding up and idk what is causing it to do that I need help

4wd vehicles in the main do not have 3rd diff in the transfer case (unlike all wheel drive vehicles) to allow uneven torque between front and read diffs to dissipate
that means that if you are driving on hard surface ( sealed roads ) there becomes what is referred to as a torque wind up in the drive train .This places all gears ,chains under extreme pressure and prevents gear changing ( shifting out of gear)
To overcome this problem, only select 4wd when driving in snow ,rain, mud, gravel or any surface that allows the wheels to slip and so even out the torque wind up.
If you had to replace the front diff that may have been the reason as front diffs are predominently weaker than rear diffs because of the way the teeth act on each other and the torque wind up will break the weakest part

Hey will a 91 chevy blazer differential work for a 2000 chevy blazer

The differential will work ONLY if, obviously, it will fit, AND you NEED to make sure the gear ratio is the same. I'm not familiar with these types, but it will work fine assuming the gear ratio is the same.
If not, the differential you have replaced will try turning the wheels faster then the other one and this creates nothing but a big mess.

I hope this helps!

What is the rear wheel bearing gear ratio for a 2001 Chevy Blazer 4WD - 2 door?

I think you mean the rear end ratio. there is no gear ratio for the wheel bearing. If you look at the factory sticker on the drivers door, there will be an "axle code". write that down and then look here for the ratio.

Need to find gear ratio on 2000 chevy blazer

If you want to find the ratio then you can remove the rear differential cover and spin the wheels by hand to turn the gears and find the number on the carrier gear. The numbers will be what you need to tell what the ratio is.

Front diff growl in 2wd

This would be a failing bearing in the differential. More specificly, I would suspect the pinion bearing. The differential will need to be disassembled and all (4) bearings and bearing races inspected for wear/ pitting.

Need front differential gear ratio? 99 Blazer, v6

3.42, 3.08 and 3.73 ratios were used.

You need to get under the vehicle and check the tag which has the diff ratio printed on it. The ratios front and back will be the same but look at both tags.

Rear diffential noise when accelerating

Unless you are experienced in diff gear setup, this is not a job for a do-it yourselfer. You need a torque wrench , dial indicators and experience to set a diff up properly...If not, you will waste your money!!! Usually cheaper and easier to swap complete units, drum to drum...then all you need is to determine exact ratio of the front unit and match it. (ring gear teeth divided by pinion tooth count= ratio )
You may not like my answer, but I'm trying to save you time and aggravation and $.!!!!
good luck
