Question about 1995 Nissan Pathfinder
It sounds more like a transmission problem than anything. But if you can get it to a parts store and get the odb2 on it to scan the computer, it might tell you what it is. It could be anything. The tranny is set up for safe mode in the case something goes wrong it will slowly get you off the road or home, but not let the engine rev to hurt the tranny more. Is there any warning lights on the dash? Check it out, hope this helps.
