That sounds more like the synchro gears are out of whack rather than the clutch being the issue. If the clutch was the issue you would hear the noise whenever the clutch was engaged not just when the tranny is shifted to reverse.

97 geo metro runs but when put it in reverse or drive it makes a grind noise

Sounds like it's time for a new clutch or transmission. Take it to a mechanic you trust for a quick test to determine the issue.

Reverse is grinding when i try to put it in gear .other gears dont grind but its very hard ti shift .its a 2000lanos.

If this is a manual transmission ,then the clutch master,or the clutch slave is by-passing,and,or leaking and causing the problem,or the clutch pedal axle bushing has worn out.

I have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire that has problems shifting into gear. (manual trany). Have to force into 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and especially in reverse. Will grind going into reverse. Have to turn off...

Sounds like the clutch is going out. I would check the operation of the clutch slave cylinder. Also check the clutch master cylinder fluid level.

Cant shift? reverse grinds? and pressure in clutch is low

What you describe sounds very much like the clutch is failing to disengage.
Fluid level being fine and no leaks under the car is good, but doesnt mean there isnt something wrong with either the master cylinder, slave cylinder, or the associated parts.

Highly unlikely there is a fault with the flywheel or clutch as failures with these would normally give no drive in any gear.

Ford fiesta 2003 reverse gear sound...

if you are only having the issue in reverse that would make me lean more towards the transmission having an issue than the clutch.

It sounds like the hyd. clutch is not working. If the clutch won't release then you can't get the transmission in a gear while it is running, without that grinding noise.

Take it back to the guy that did the work. Sounds like he's got the pressure plate on crooked putting it in a bind. Whatever it is happened during the installation. That's a given!
