If it is like my 99 taco that i had then remove the bezel ,2 or 3 screws on top under side of dash pad and pull it out gently. i think there are some clips at the bottom. then there are about 4 screws holding the instrument cluster in the dash. remove them and pull out cluster. bulbs are on the back side . just quarter turn . hope this helps.

How do you change dashboard lights in a 2003 toyota tacoma

You need to remove the instrument cluster assembly. You have to remove the cover on the steering column, and then the fascia, in front of the cluster. Next, remove the 4 screws that holds the cluster to the dash. Pull the cluster out, and remove the witing connectors. The bulbs are accessible from the back of the cluster. The bulb replacement can not be done 'from under the dash'.

2003 parking bulb toyota tacoma

OK, I just fixed mine. The unit pulls out. You have to get a screwdiriver, wrap it with a cloth so it doesn't scratch the paint, then gently wedge the entire unit out. When it pops out, you'll see the clips that keep it in place. You might think its breaking when you pull it out, but trust me this is how you do. Just be gentle with it. After you get the unit out, simply take the socket out and replace the bulb. I did it in five minutes.

Check engine light on 2003 tacoma

The diagnostic terminal is under the dash, on the driver side. It is white, and sort of oblong, with 2 rows of femal pins. It is NOT recommended to start probing in this connector to "get a code". You may damage the ECU by probing the pins. There is no proceedure to extract DTC by using probes. You need a scan tool.
