Question about Buick Electra
Try to reset the computer. And then check CHANGE OIL SOON LIGHT is there.
Try this procedure:--
Turn the key to the "Run" position when the car is not on.
Then slowly press the gas pedal completely down and then release it. Do this three times within a period of 5 seconds. If the "Change Oil Soon" light blinks, the oil monitoring system is in the process of being reset.Turn the vehicle key to the "Off" position.Start the car. The "Change Oil Soon" light should come on for a few seconds (as all the monitoring lights do), but then go off. If this is the case, you have completed resetting the "Change Oil Soon" light. If the light stays on after a few moments of the car running, the system has not been reset. You must again follow the steps to reset your "Change Oil Soon" light. It will get reset after few tried. If not on first time . Thanks. Keep updated for any more query.
