Check your under hood vacuum lines running from the motor to the passenger firewall , one is likely cracked or broken.

My air runs cold but is stuck between defrost and front vent. How to fix

Pull the control panel out of the dash and see if the mode control vacuum switch has a good vacuum source or the switch itself leaks vacuum. The mode control is what moves the doors that diverts the air flow around to the vents, defrost and floor.

Air conditioner blows out defrost vents when acceleration.

In f150 truck there is a small vacum hose passenger side up by the windshield. It's a small hose check really good they dry rot and it will cause your vents to switch. Also if your box is bad. It's next to the battery

When i turn the air on it doesn't flow from the front vents.

Sounds like the switch or actuator is not operating. Some vehicles have mechanical operators, and some have vacuum actuators. If a vacuum line is loose, it will not actuate.

2002 explorer a/c blowing out of defrost and not dash vents

The direction of the air flow (dash/defrost/floor, etc) is controlled by vacuum going to the switch. There may be a vac line that didn't get connected or was damaged when they put the replacement engine in it. Check the lines on the firewall to make sure nothing is loose.

I have a dodge 600. when the heater is switched to defrost no air

check for any vaccum leaks, hoses leaking or unhooked, also may have a bad blend door motor. see if all other positions work like floor, vents, fresh air and recycle air. good luck.

Problem with air not coming out of vents.

Check for a vacum leak from the engine to the a/c.The color of the hose is black. Also check if the heater control valve hose is unplugged. If you have vacuum the it sounds like the door for the vent/floor/defrost is broken.
