No this cant be done, there two diffrent seats, i think the best thing is to try and weld it, remove the seat and see if its the track that broke or the floor itself, i just repair one with power seats and the track had a couple of frozen arms and thats what caused seat track to break. i remove the seat and remove track from seat freed frozen linkage arms and welded track all worked out good, hope this helps.

Need to remove backseat of 2003 cavalier in order to clean it...puppy **** on seat. Do you have other solutions to removing the odor?

I had to pull my 2001 cavalier back seat. (MILK) The clips that held it down where located in the front side of the seat. One on driver, one passenger. You actually have to push the seat (from the front) back toward the trunk and lift up. I tried pulling straight up and ended up breaking a clip. THEN i saw how i should have done it. It will probably take alot of force. They fit tight and were made to stay there. You never know, i just pulled my girlfriends 2001 impala seat, (CAT PEE) and it pulled straight up with barely any effort.

How to remove the headrests to put seat covers on for a 1989 crown victoria?

90% of head rests just pull out. the others will have a button where the headrest goes into the seat. If yours doesn't have the button, then push the headrest down and **** it up with some force and it will come out. Just be carefull you don't hit yourself in the face with it. Been there done that

Turn the seat around on a VW van?

There is a small round metal wire that comes out of the front center of the seat. If you sit on the seat, while depressing the wire down, and pivot using your body weight, the seat should turn. Sometimes spraying the black seat mount is necessary to lube it. You may have to remove the seat if rusty or very dirty. To do that, slide the seat as far forward as possible, then lift the small metal lever on the left side of the seat, to release the lock on the track allowing the seat to move forward off the track. Note: both the passenger and drivers seats should turn on your model.

How do I get the headliner down on an 89 Volvo 240 wagon, so I can access tailgate wiring harness?

with great difficulty, normally these things have plastic push studs if its the solid type ,but if its the material type with metal bar stretchers then the edges are pushed into a sort of groove in the edge of the roof ,and if its old as you try to pull it out it rips apart.Best of british with it

1995 Volvo Station Wagon headrest removal

You have to push in on the back of the seat as in the picture below. It really takes two people, one to push in and one to pull up on the head rest. http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/download/file.php?id=1748&mode=view

1989 HOnda civic Wagon-- headlight bulb replacement

You should have a rubber boot over the bulb with wires going through it. Pull back the rubber boot to expose the bulb housing and grasp firmly and turn counter-clockwise a 1/4 turn and the bulb and housing pulls out. Replace the bulb and reverse the procedure. Make sure not to touch the new bulb with your bare hands, this would leave your skin oils on the bulb and could blow it out prematurely.

Motor on the seat may have gone out, contacts in switch got dirty or worn, or assembly reached limit and stuck. Try sitting in it pushing back hard and adjust. If not youll need to replace switch,b take seat apart to fix or replace.
