2001 mercedes benz transmission solenoid is located where ? And my key turns but car wont start HELPPPPP !!!

All of them are inside the transmission. And the no start could be the safety switch located on the transmission. Sounds like you have an electrical problem Instead of solenoids.

Where is shift interlock solenoid located on 1996 mercury villager?

The are normally located in the gear lever itself.

A common problem though- check if your brake lights are working! In order for the solenoid to release, you have to press the brake pedal. The brake light switch sends this signal and if there is a blown fuse or a faulty brake light switch, it is the common fault for the solenoid not disengaging. These solenoids themselves are not a commonly faulty unit!

I'm replacing the shift solenoid in my 2004 Buick Rendezvous but I can't find any diagrams showing the location or how to change it out. Can you please help?

WHen you refer to the shift solenoid, are you meaning the solenoid that locks and unlocks the shift lever? If so, before you change this, check if your brake lights are working! A common fault for this solenoid to not work is either a blown fuse or failed brake light switch- the solenoid is activated by you pushing the brake pedal which sends its signal from the switch!

I hope this helps? Good luck!

2004 Ford Explorer Needs new switch solenoid Where is it located? How do I drain an refill transmission ? How long will itake to do job? Where can I buy solenoid?

Need more information. What switch solenoid? Starter solenoid? To drain a automatic transmission, commonly the transmission pan needs to be removed. Some are lucky enough to have a drain plug, but its not real common. When doing that, its a good idea to buy a filter kit for it. It comes with a replacement filter & pan gasket. To refill it, get a small funnel that fits in the transmission dipstick tube and pour in fluid.

Dodge charger will not shift out of park 2006

there is a solenoid that is operated when you put your foot on the brake to shift out of park, if the solenoid doesnt recieve power than either you have no power to the switch on the brake pedal to activate the switch (check fuses) or the solenoid itself has gone bad, the solenoid is usually right next to where the shifter is located

Shift solenoid relay.. internal or external?

Trans model is the 4L60E,and the shift solenoids are mounted on the valve body, just inside the bottom pan. There are 2 shift solenoids, one EPC solenoid (Electronic Pressure Control)One TCC PWM solenoid (Torque Convertor Clutch,Pulse Width Modulated),one 3-2 kickdown solenoid, and a manifold pressure switch. As far as a shift solenoid relay switch,i have never heard of that. The power for the transmission solenoids comes through the ignition switch ,and uses a fuse, not a relay.Accessing the solenoids only requires dropping the bottom pan,and the valve body does not have to be removed,to change the solenoids. The shift solenoids are the TWO solenoids right side by side and look identical..They are the only two solenoids inside the pan that are in fact identical.Good luck.
