I was driving and all of a sudden engine light came on then shut off and then oil light come on as im losing power and steering wheel locked up then oil light went off. i pushed it to side turned on hazard lights. got a quart of oil put it in.. thats all it was low (although i am in need of oil change and last time it was changed it was done with synthetic and that is not what was put in my car when we added the quart it was not synthetic) had it towed to my house. then then my car had no power at all doors and trunk locks/buttons would not work. when i try to start my car it just sounds and feels like its trying to start but its not getting enough power fuel to start. there was a full tank of gas in my car. i had someone pull out the starter checked it at autozone and they said it was bad also got a new battery. put in new starter and battery. same problem. a day later i had batterty checked and it was like super low... so somethings draining the batterty. also like 2 weeks before all of this happend io had someone put in new fan assembly and wiring harness since old harness fell into fans while i was driving, huge mess overheating... etc... when that was done car was driving fine for like 1 1/2 weeks... started to overheat again.... i jus kept water in it and if overheated i pulled over.. when it died i checked gauge.. it was at normal temp had been almost all day. then all of a sudden died.... what do i do.... something draining battery... is my car junk should i jus get rid of it i feel like im dumpin money into it asnd all i get is problems back.

From your explaination you have a bad alternator, with the new battery it will run until the battery drains, what happen was the alternator went bad engine stopped running when there was not enough voltage left, the oil light and steering problem is all related that happened due to engine dieing out, replace the alternator and that will solve your problem, have the charging system checked and make sure they recharge the new battery, hope this is helpful,

Car shuts off, battery light comes on, steering wheel locks up, all while driving

I am assuming you mean you loose power steering when the steering wheel locks up, which would be a normal event if the engine dies. Same goes for the battery light since the alternator would stop charging the battery.
Someone will need to figure out if you are loosing fuel or spark when the engine dies, then troubleshoot the problem. It may be difficult to find if the mechanic can not duplicate the problem in the shop.

Esp light on 2001 aclass

Hi there lose of power steering and the eps light coming on could be the power steering pump is broken or near stuffed so will require a new pump. The other reason is that your power steering oil level is to low and needs toping up. Also check that the drive belts driving the power steering pump are tight and not slipping.

Hope this helps.

Have you bled all air out of the system after refit?
Check the oil level and for any signs of air in the oil.

To bleed the system, you must turn the wheel from lock to lock, whilst topping up the power steering fluid. After a dozen turns or so, stop the engine, and allow the air in the fluid to rise out over several minutes.
Restart the engine, and work from lock to lock another dozen times or so, checking the oil level again.

After doing all that, is there still air in your system?
Is the power steering drive belt slack?

If everything is normal and operating properly, then you may have an issue with your steering rack.

Driving home, 2003 Dodge neon starts to slow down, oil light has come on intermittedenly before, engine started to lose power, brakes locked up, and steering wheel locked up. Car had to be towed. Thanks.

lets hope its not a bad motor from lack of oil pressure, the loss of brakes and steering is due to the engine stopped running this is normal, but hte oil light coming on with the engine running is not good, you will need to see if the engine spins and trys to start, this will tell you a little bit, if it spins then it didnt lock up, and maybe its a fuelpump or timing belt that let go, you will have to do some testing ,check for fuel pressure and spark at the plugs,

Cannot get key to turn in jeep. Have already driven it numerous times today, suddenly can't move steering wheel or gear shift and key will not turn. Help!

Try turning the steering wheel (hard) right and left while turning the key. Steering lock , and ignition lock work in conjunction with each other.

When turning into a parking spot, all of a sudden my steering wheel seemed as though it "Locked Up".. not as it would if the car was shut off, but like I lost power steering. A light came on on the dash. I...

It is most likely you just turned the wheel to the farthest limit of its travel, and the power assist cutout at that point.

Check your fluid level to make sure its up to where it should be.

If fluid is fine, I wouldn't worry about it...it is fine and a normal occurance.
