No spark. This is caused by faulty 1) Spark plugs it self. 2) The crankshaft sensor faulty. 3) The camshaft sensor faulty. 4) The faulty coil pack or No power between coil to spark plugs. The spark plugs get power to spark from coil pack.If the connection between coil pack and spark plugs is short then it has to be checked and replaced. As you mentioned that you replace the crankshaft sensor. So ignore that but check out other possible causes for this problem. The cam sensor is in the distributor. And as you mentioned in your problem that "no fuel and no spark", So verify that you are getting 12V on the primary input wire while you are cranking, or alternatively put the voltmeter on the Fuel pump and see if it is getting 12V. If not, then the ASD is somehow not getting the message from the controller to stay 'on' which implies that the controller is not getting the crank and the cam signals. That is what the ASD is for, so that the fuel and spark will shut down in the case of an accident when the engine is no longer rotating. If you test the circuit for battery with the key in the On/Run position; then you only have about 3 seconds before the PCM times out. This is because the PCM needs a Cam & Crank shaft signal. If it does not see these then it de-energizes the ADS relay (automatic shutdown relay). The ADS relays powers the fuel pump relay. The relays will make a clunk when energized. So this ASD and fuel pump relay also needs to be checked. This relays can also be the cause of the problem'. Get someone to turn the ignition on while you listen/feel for the asd relay contacts switching over If it dosn't check you are getting 12V from to the ignition switch to the ASD coil contacts. The other side of the coil grounds through the computer. If the ASD relay switches contacts then you may not have a supply to the positive side of the ASD switched contacts. --------- You can also get the codes checked before replacing the part.Getting the codes detected first will help you to replace the exact faulty part. For how to detect the codes please click on the link directly:---- http://www.jeephorizons.com/tech/yj_codes.html ----------------- Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

If in case there is no check engine light on the dash, then its confirmed that the problem is not related to car computer related. There is a voltage problem on spark plugs or coil pack. Also get the injectors and fuel pump checked.
Get the fuel pressure tested.this will confirm the problem about fuel problem or coil/spark plug problem.
Thanks for keeping updated with your query.

SOURCE: 97 jeep wrangler getting spark not fuel. I

Sounds good ninemil, I would also check for any bent or disconnected fuel lines that would restrict the fuel flow as well. I do not know if this has a fuel pump assembly but you should be able to hear it actuate on when the key is in the "on" position. How did it act before you shut it off? Was it harder to start? Make sure you buy a high quality pump (Carter) many of those cheaper brands will fail trust me.

Your ecu is in need of repair. Your jeep has what is known as the "delayed check engine light problem". Time has taken it's toll on some of your ecu's internal components, the ones that supply power the fuel and ignition circuit relays. The ecu is slow to supply power to the circuits in the morning, causing the delay. Your jeep may also have a bad crank sensor, which would cause the sudden shutdown while driving. Your ecu can be repaired or replaced, your choice. Both options are available on ebay.

95 jeep wrangler cranks but won't start. replaced crank shaft sensor, coil, plugs. battery is good.

After you crank it for a while, take out one of the spark plugs. If it is dry then you have a fuel issue. If it is wet and smells like gas you have a spark issue. Find that out and report back and then we can get more specific.

I have a 92 jeep wrangler that won't run

Sounds like the crank sensor. One way to check is while cranking watch the tach. If there is no movement then most likely it needs a crank sensor. If the sensor is good you will see a slight bounce in the tach.
