Question about 2001 Dodge Caravan
The code is not P106, but PO106. The code can be caused byBad MAP sensor,Water/dirt intrusion affecting MAP sensor connector, Intermittent open in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor, Intermittent short in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor, Ground problem due to corrosion causing intermittent signal problem , Bad PCM.
Those are typical causes, when you get this code 9 on ten it is a wiring problem that may often cause intermittant failure, along with MAP sensor replace the wiring cable to PCM.
