The flasher must be replaced by the full unit and best not to repair.
there is no need of a diagram as the positive voltage from the signal indicator switch , once switched flows into this unit.
This flashe rUnit is self timed electronic unit which when the power is feed into uses the unit to switch the output in corrrect sequence which is fed to either the left side or the right side as teh selecction from the input , two inputs / outputs.
Use a meter and trace down from the cluster switch.

Flashers don't work in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. Don't have a book or wiring diagram to backtrace source of the possible problem.

Howdy anonymous,

Beyond the always FIRST STEP of blaming the "FLASHER"....
(see rockauto example $ below)

There immediately follows moving on out to the light bulbs and checking they (EACH & EVERY) work...

Then & only then do you start "BACK-TRACING"

I always recommend getting REAL FACTORY support documents but luckily BBB Industries has FREE documents for popular USA models: and TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS...
(foreign & domestic... (registration required... real documents))

Go to the wiring SCHEMATIC... You will find REFERENCES to both BATTERY & GROUND...

It would be really helpful to know... WORKING STATUS?

Tail lights
Brake lights
Left signal
Right signal...

If Tail lights and Brake lights work... you can
pretty much forget about BACK-TRACING altogether...

Start with your FLASHER power source and move
immediately into the "multi-contact flasher switch

Where do I find the turn signal flasher on a 1995 ford ranger?

You may need to get a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams.
You have a flasher for the hazards and one for the turn signals. They are two different circuits. It is unlikely both have failed at the same time.
One flasher should be on the fuse box under the dash and the other is probably behind the radio.

All of the turn signals on 2004 Honda Civic have stopped working. They all still work when my hazard lights are on, but not to signal a turn. Now, sometimes it will work for a few flashes, sometimes only...

You need a new flasher. Go to the parts store and ask for a flasher that fits your car. Also ask them where to find the flasher on your car. It is usually under the dash somewhere, sometimes plugged into the fuse box. My manual does not say where yours is, but it may be next to the hazard flasher. If it is, you could turn the hazard flasher on and trace the sound to find them both. OK?
