If it is like the ford probe mounted on the passenger side you will have to remove the trans-axle. It has four bolts. you will need to jack the car up and put it on stands. remove tire and remove trans-axle. Hope this helped tim

How to change alternator on 2008 nissian altima

For a V6 altima easiest way is to remove the radiator. Altenator is on the front of the engine at the bottom. With the radiator out of the way can fit it out. Ususal atuff for the altenator. Disconnect the battery. Loosen the belt to remove it. The unplug connector and the 12mm bolt for the output. Then unbolt altenator to remove. Will not be able to fit it out without removing radiator

How do i take off a alternator for a mitsubishi Pajero, 1992

IF it is the same as my 89 Montero (which it should be) you would first disconnect the ground for the battery (safety first), loosen the belt tensioner enough to remove the altenator drive belt and then unbolt the alternator. Keep the bolts placed in a manner in which you can be sure which one goes where. I believe the bottom bolt is going to give you the most trouble. It may have to come out from the back. It's been over a year since I pulled mine so I can't remember for sure. HTH

Cannot get altenator out of motor bay.Altenator is unbolted and free from bracket.

Make sure that the wires are removed, belt is removed, and the top and bottom bolts are completely out of the holes. If all of that is done the alternator is just jammed in the recepticle. Take a large screwdriver or small/ medium prybar and place between the alternator and brackets and pull. it may be tough but it will come out. Good luck and i hope i was of some assistance. Please leave feedback if i was able to help.

Thank you for your question!

How to change an altenator on a 2005 dodge strstus

The best advise I can give you is go to Auto Zone or your local Auto parts store and purchase the Haynes Repair manual on your vehicle. 1. Disconnect the battery. 2. remove the Drive Belt. 3. Disconnect the the cables from the Alternator. 4 . Unbolt the alternator. Reverse the process to install the new unit.

Replacing a altenator

Disconnect the battery, unbolt the alternator, remove the wires and write down or draw yourself a picture so you can put them back where you got them. Some need to be twisted and turned a bit to get them out. Replacing is the reverse of removal. It sometimes helps to partially un-bolt the brackets from the engine so you have a bit of room to get it back in.
My rule: If it's in your way, remove it (that can often save hours of extra work)
