You can try shifting into manual 1 to get moving then once you get going shift the lever up into Drive. This should work, then drive it to a shop to have your ****** looked at.

Hello, I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX 4cyl with 130k. The issue is that I have no pulling power in reverse but all other gears are fine in drive, from 1st to D4. Can you help me with this...

Anytime I see a a/t acting up like that I check the transmission fluid first. I am not sure where it is on your car so you should consult the owners manual to find the dipstick. Usually there will be a hot and cold measurement on the dipstick. It is better to check when hot. So the way to do that is to drive the car for a couple of miles to get it up to temp then park it and leave it idling and check the transmission fluid just like if you are checking the oil. If this comes back fine then you are right and it is most likely an electrical problem. I always recommend taking an electrical problem to a shop that you trust just because of the way an electrical problem could be just about anywhere. I worked on a car for a guy that the lights wouldn't turn off and it turned out it was a crossed wire in the radio wiring harness.

Your transmission is going to fail sooner or later, the whining noise you hear is the the clutch packs in the transmission going out.

Transmission stops working when hot

You are probably having ATF bubbles flowing through your tranny either from overfill or by using cheap ATF / the wrong atf. Consider a drain and refill 3 times (driving for 5 minutes in between a drain and refill. This time only use dealship ATF and I guarantee you the problem will go away.
