You cant hot wire a 1999 jeep cherokee it has a steering wheel lock. An thus even if you did get it to start you couldnt turn the wheel. Would like information on how to solve a problem with it not starting i could do that. But to hot wire the vehicle is not really possible without doing as much work as it would take to fix a problem.
thanks, Midwest-tek

Did you meter the wire at the master switch? If so and you have power the switch is bad, if not you have a short in the wire.

Fan motor does't turn on and jeep gets hot. is there a fuse 2 chg

fan comes on when a certin temp is met.check the fan motor it self by straight wiring the fan motor with the engine off. do this by finding the wires to the fan motor and stripping the wires back and connecting the wires to the battery one to hot and one to ground if the fan comes on you have a thurmstat problem.if it dont come on the fan is bad

Wiring a electric brake booster to a travel trailer and am trying to splice a red wire to the hot side of the brake pedal.. which is the ''hot wire''?

Use a test light or a DVOM to find out wich is hot the light will come on or you should read 12V +/-
Do the instructions ask for hot all the time or hot when the brakes are applied? If they want hot when applied you should only light up when the pedal is down and go out when released
