You need a scanner, can buy inexpensive ones for maybe 60-75 bucks or many auto parts stores will scan for you also.

I would be running the fault codes to check for faulty sensors. To reset the CPU use a code reader but I suspect that will not be your problem

MAP sensor code shows fault , replaced sensor, code still goes on and off, book says to check all vacum lines for cracks or leaks. where are they all located any place to locate a diagram? Bill

After you replaced the sensor, you will have to have a scanner connected to the computer again and have the trouble codes cleared. Otherwise the original code is still causing the light to come on.

On the dash of a holden cruze (2002 Model) there is an illuminated symbol that looks like an engine, what does it mean?, Thanks Bruce

This is the vehicle's check engine light, and it means that the on-board diagnostic computer has detected a fault and stored a service code. Your Holden dealer, any reputable mechanic, and many auto parts stores can retrieve the code and tell you what part or system requires service.

P700 trouble code on 06 dodge durange. cant find what the code is. thanks

Transmission control system malfunction. Likely solenoid pack on transmission faulty. Don't leave it, get it in to a good transmission place or dealer, diagnosed properly and fixed otherwise your flirting with big repair bill later.

Either a trap door in the panel under the steering wheel, or up under the dash pointing down (near the outer wall)
