It sounds like your ac pump clutch bearing are sezing up they will be noisey and the ac take around 30% effiencey from your engine when on so if the bearing are sezing up that will increase thats why you feel the car has a load on the engine

Noisy belt pully . not water pump temp ok .not ac pully no noiser when ac is on

Not sure without a listern to be honest could be any number of things from a idler bearing to a bearing on the water pump ,slacken and take the belt off then wiggle woggle the pulleys and see if their is any movement back and forth

Serptentine belt noisy

Belt noise is caused by a loose or old belt. As the belt ages the rubber gets hard. A serpentine belt has no adjustment, so as the belt ages, you have to replace it if it becomes noisy...

The serpentine adjuster bearing can also go bad, creating a lot of noise. If that is the case you can sometimes remove and replace just the bearing, but often that is not an option and you have to replace the entire adjuster assembly.

Good luck :O)

Noisy sounds like one of the belt pullys

Spray some " belt dressing" on them see if that helps, if it does, probably bad belt, replace with new.

I have a 2001 dodge caravan, We have a noise coming from the alternator pully, I think or the tension pully, The noise is very loud and kinda sounds like a gragle.

there are a few things you can do to check this ,it sounds like a bearing from the alternator . it is behind the pully ,or the bearing on the tensioner .you can take the serpentine belt of the alternator by usint a pry bar or a ratchet on the belt tensioner .you can check both by spinning them when ther is no pressure on them the one that makes the same noise sound is the bad one ,there is a diagram on the front hood on how to remove and replace the serpiene belt

Sounds like the tensioner bearing is frozen, not turning at all. You need to remove the belt and see if it spins.

I have a high pitched noise which appears to be coming from front right engine compartment (as you are looking at the engine) which sounds kind of like a belt that is squealing. It is intermittent. Just...

Could be several things. WHICH ENGINE?.. 4 cylinder (has three belts, power steering/water pump, alternator & A/C compressor, one tensioner pully A/C compressor), The V6 2.7 (has only one belt, 1 Idler pully and 1 tensioner pully), the V6 3.5 has two belts - A/C/alternator, and power steering - there are two tensioner pullys). Noises can be caused by the belt(s) themselves, pullys, bearings, pully bearings, water pump shaft bearings (or belts/pullys rubbing up against something). Let's not forget that there is also belt(s) behind the Timing Belt cover as well as pullys and bearings associated with the timing system. You could start by removing one accy drive belt at a time (alternator, water pump, compressor, power steering, etc) to see whether or not the noise goes away in each case. If after each case, you discover the noise is still there, it's probably behind the timing belt cover (idler/tensioner pully, water pump shaft bearing, crankshaft bearing, etc.). Good Luck

Squeaking... pully maybe?

the ac belt is sperate from the power steering belt.. sounds to me you need to replace the belts (both of them) but theres a idler pully in the middle of them all witch may have a bearing going out on it..i had to change mine at about 85,000.. when i had the belts off i spun the pully and it was excessivly stiff cause'n slipage and also a squel.. hope its not the alt, or water pump making the noise..they can run ya into some $$
