Question about Hyundai Accent
On the brake pedal there is a switch, when you push the pedal the small plunger gets pushed in and makes a contact which completes the circuit and gives you brake lights. More than likely the plunger on the switch is stuck on the inward position and causing your brake lights to stay on.it is easy to replace, either two screws or you twist it out of the bracket, depending on your model.
