Look under if the seat carriage mechanism has jammed at the adjustment slot.
Use a good light to investigate , use some WD40 cleaning spray to the lock position and try to wriggle the lever. If must come loose once the sprray gets in.
Also you can try to move the seat slowly till it moves well on the rail. Use a hammer to tap at the base if there is rust on the rail that has caught on the seat frame.
Hope this helps

reach under the seat (from the back gives the most space and replace or re-clip that cable to the bar

My 04 navigator left power seat wont move any direction and pedal adjust wont move...there is a clicking sound coming from a black box under seat but no function

it does not appear that the driver seat or adjustable pedal share anything in common

furthermore, the sound you hear clicking may be the actual seat motor trying to work, but lets do a quick test

try to move the seat up/down, forward/back and any combination. If while holding the button in said position and you consistently hear the clicking sound that follow the sound and touch the motor under your seat. If you feel the "clicking" then your seat motor is bound or siezed and will need repair.

if instead you just hear one click then you might be experiencing a relay problem

As for the pedal adjustment... have you checked fuse #109 (30A) @ the CJB (Central Junction Box) behind the right kick panel?

Power driver seat 2004 dakota will not go forward evrything else works

Seat Switch is bad or the worm drive for the seat is mis-aligned. Does it make any noise when trying to go forward? Obviously, don't use the Back option or you won't be able to reach the pedals.

Good luck, TD

'96 monte carlo autoseat wotn move forward or backward

Individual motors for horizontal and vertical movement. Try moving seat while looking under at motors. Once you find the one that is not moving, try holding switch to foreward position and tap on motor with a screwdriver handle. This may get it going long enough to move so you can reach the pedals easier.

Power driver seat in F150 moves back but not forward

Just picking at you. It would have to be a bad switch. Forward and back are on the same circuit switch just reverses the power and ground to the motor.

Parking Brake problem

2000 S-10: brake functions properly while pedal is held down, but when I remove my foot, the brake is released.
The following is not a repair so much as a solution to the basic problem and I guess it won't pass scrutiny of any state inspection. Nevertheless, this idea may skip around the automatic pedal stop malfunction and buy you some time while a proper part replacement is arranged.
The release cable ends at the ratchet assembly by the pedal and the lever which receives it can be pushed forward before depressing the pedal thereby engaging the stop which will hold the pedal down and keep the brake engaged. There is no click, or catch evident when the release lever is moved forward and it only moves a little bit.
Not the easiest reach from the driver’s seat. Also, the release cable is likely to jump out of its place if you just reach blindly and push.
From what I've read on this site, there are some design issues with the ratchet mechanism that commonly lead to failure of the pedal stop function.
Hopefully this will help those who still want to park on a hill.
