Probably a temporary thing until the car 'relearns' driving habits. The car's computer is recompiling data from the sensors (fuel ratio, acceleration (trans), etc)

Tapping noise


Check your oil. If it's low, add some, if it's black, change it. Tapping noises usually occur when there's insufficient oil in the crankcase. Best of luck.

Coil light and loss of power


The battery grounding ******** vw's periodically go bad and need replacement, I would suspect this to be the case.
It will corrode
in its casing, resulting in faulty electrical systems.

Change the fuel filter a gain you may just got dirty or bad fuel. Also check and replace the air filter TDI need a lot of air.
