HI, the torque spec for the pan bolts is 14nm or 124 in lb. snug them down evenly it doesn't take much to over tighten these and strip out the threads.

These don't need to be very tight, same as trans pan bolts or maybe a little more. Don't know exact spec, but perhaps 8 ft. lbs.?

What are the torque specs on the bolts for the transmission pan on a 2010 Jeep commander with a 3.7 Eng.

my guess is 7ft/lbs.
be nice to know actual trans used ,no?
they have model numbers and sub types.
my guess is the 45RFE, not the NAG1.
may books state, snug em/ up , and dont distort the gasket
but the real book shows
105 in. lbs or 11.8 N•m (that is inch lbs not FEET)

105 divided by 12 is = 8.75 ft./lbs
my 7 was good guess, no?

How much transmission fluid does a 1998 sunfire gt 4 speed auto take? I've changed the oil and don't know for sure how much to put back in?

3.8 in the pan and about 6-8 liters in the tran if it is a downstairs check plug then its is pritty easy to check. There is a little 11ml bolt on the right side of the tran pan that you pull out while the car is running and in park if fluid comes out your good, if not top it up cycle the gears and try again. best of luck

Need the torque specs and sequence for the engine oil pan 1999 potiac sunfire 2.4

Torque on the oil pan bolts is 18 lb/ft. Tighten in a criss cross pattern slowly tightening the bolts down making multiple passes until you have them torqued.

I need to know what the torque spec is for a auto trans. pan gasket on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix?

It is actually 10 ft lbs. This is something that you want to tighten to exact specs.

Hope this helps!

Need torque specs for oil pan bolts

torque specs for these bolts can be found in a Haynes or Chilton manual availiable from your local parts store, or maybe at your local library, however these bolts are usually no more than 14 ft pounds, unlike cylinder head bolts, the bolts do not need to have any stretch factor to hold the oil pan gasket in place or sealed.
