Most of those older cars had back seat that you push the seat cushion toward the back and a little under the back cushion. Once you have it pushed back lift up on the front of the cushion and pull toward you, it should come out.I believe that the back cushion will be bolted on, they should be located below the cushion.

What year is this engine? and ci

From this chart - I think you may be misreading the number - 3970010 is possibly the actual number: Which makes the engine pretty old 68-72 350 V8 - 4 bolt main. I included past this number so that you can see that the number you posted doesn't actually exist. And thus my conclusion that the 9 is most likely a 0. I need to know where the battery is located on my new 2012 SS Camaro

My first guess would be under the rear seat, but call the dealer and they can tell you for sure.

Where is the fuel pump relay on a 02 camaro?

It's located on top of the gas tank.
The only way to get to the fuel pump and it's relay is either by dropping the entire rear axle and fuel cell. The more common approach is to cut a square hole in rear deck lid (right behind the rear-seats).

68 camaro no keys should I drill out the ignition?

a drill will do it but you run the risk of damage if the
drill binds or breaks off in the lock.
If i remember correctly the door lock uses the same
key if it was mine i would remove the door lock and
take it to a chevy dealer or lock smith and have a couple made.
if you have any other ? give us a shout good luck

2002 Xterra fuel pump replacement

No, like others said, there's an access plate under the rear seats. Most imports (Honda, Toyota, Nissan) have this access plate to get to the pump. Some domestics don't (90's Camaros etc)
