Question about 1989 Mercedes-Benz 190

1 Answer

Recently the dash lights in my 1989 190e 2.6 went very dim. Along with this the radio no longer works, and the turn signals no longer work. What do you think the issue is? I also have issues with no cold air or hot air coming from the vents. Any thoughts?

Driver's headlight is dim; wipers only work if headlight is off

Sounds like the jolt from the barrier has caused a bad ground to occur. Look for a bad ground wire around the left headlamp in or around the headlight bucket.
Tighten or replace the bad ground wire. A poor contact will cause the headlight to light dimly.

From the dashboard. 2 days prior to this my Airbag light fuse went out, I replaced it and now it works fine again. I am not sure if they have anything to do with eachother.
