I ran out of dieel on my Hyundai trajet 2006 and can't now start it, how do i bleed the fuel sytem?

there should be a rubber hand pump by the fuel filter under the bonnet, disconnect the fuel pipe from the filter to injector pump just clips off ,squeeze the pump until the filter is full refit fuel pipe and pump some more until you feel the resistance in the pump build she should now start, if you cant disconnect the fuel pipe just pump until you feel resistance but might take longer, if there is no hand pump fill the filter with diesel and try starting her if she then starts keep it reving a while to make sure all air is out of system

Which End Of Of Fuel Filter Connects To Manuel Pump On 1987 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl 3.9 ?

The filter should have three hoses. There should be an arrow painted on the filter showing the direction of fuel flow.
And you should be able to blow in one end and the air come out the other if direction is correct.
The line to the pump should be on the end without the extra hose.

I was driving when my 96 dodge dakota quit running. i tested the fuel pump it was good so i put a ecm on still won't fire and the fuel pump does not run and what is the shutdown relay for

the crank and cam sensors send ref. to the pcm. if they are bad the truck will not start. the asd relay should be the same as another. if you feel it may be the problem...try switching it with one of the others. maybe the ac clutch relay.

Where is the fuel filter for a 1987 Dodge dakota and the fuel pump.

The fuel filter is under the hood, center, upper engine area, above intake assembly, mounted in fuel line.

The fuel pump should be in the tank or on top of the tank. Trace your fuel line back once you find your filter and you will find it.

My 1987 Bronco 2 cut out on me without any signs leading up to it. No fuel is getting to the engine. I think its one of my fuel pumps but I dont know which one.

there is 1 fuse under the hood for the fuel pump or fuseable link by the selanoid and lot of fords have a fuel cutoff switch on pass side by your feet either on firewall or far right side infront of the door just under the dash

Add a mechanical feul pump to a 1987 camaro

THE ENGINE IN THIS CAR IF IT IS ORIGINAL IS NOT SET UP FOR A MECHANICAL PUMP.sorry for caps. the pump runs off of the cam via a pushrod and newr motors did not have this option look on the side of your motor and see if it has a block off plate if so you may be in luck remove plate install the pump rod and rotate motor by hand while holding rod up in there see if you feel it move up and down. if so just install new plate and pump. remember if you do this you will have to remove the electric pump out of the tank and install a sender designed for mechanical pump it will not pull freely thru the electric pump.So with all this in mind it may be easier to keep the electric pump and install an adjustable pressur regulator
