Question about 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis
If you say the battery is good then i would check the starter, with a test light there are two wires at the starter, one big cable from the battery should have power at all times the other wire should have power when the key is in the crank postion, so if someone holds the key in crank while you test starter there should be power at the small wire oon starter, if theres power then starter is no good, also try to start in neutral and make sure car is in park good.
