Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Hello my name is Ben and I can help you with this. Look toward the front bottom and remove that screw, then there is one at the armrest. If power windows, carefully pry the switch assembly up and disconnect electrical connectors. If manual windows, there is a clip shaped like a " C " that holds the handle on a grooved shaft shaft. You can either buy a special tool to remove the clip or use a very thin screwdriver and pry it off from behind the crank handle. It helps to push the door panel in slightly to gain access to the back of the crank handle. CAUTION, the C clip has a tendency to fly off into outer space never to be seen again. Carefully pry out the trim piece around the door handle. Next remove that triangle shaped plastic piece at the top of the door trim, it just comes straight out, ( use a small screwdriver or putty knife to gently pry it out from the edge ) , once you are sure you have found all the screws, start at the bottom of the panel and pry it out, when the fasteners are out lift the panel up.If you meet STRONG resistance double check for any screws you missed. If you have any questions about this feel free to leave a comment and I will try to clarify my answer, Ben.
