SOURCE: I have a 1997 Mitsubishi
check your spark plugs and wires. replacing them usually takes care of misfires. if its not the plugs and wires, it may be the coil pack, a bad injector, or low compression

SOURCE: 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse flasher
Start by checking the fuses then move to the light bulbs. If those are ok check the flasher switch and then the turn signal switch. More than likely you will need to replace the flasher switch.

Testimonial: "Thanks! Check the wire connection on the bulb, which i did and stripped the wire back more that Mitsubishi had done. Made better connection. Fixed."
SOURCE: My check engine light stays on.
You can take your car to Auto Zone and they will scan the codes for FREE. They will also let you know the part causing the problem. 99% of the time it's a sensor that you may be able to replace yourself if your handy with cars. Without the codes, it's random guessing to fix the problem.

The turn signal flasher unit in the Mitsubishi Eclipse should be located behind the air conditioning and heater control panel in the center console. Hope this helps you and best wishes.
